The Best Activewear Brands

We often get asked this question; “What is the best gym clothing brand for women?” Our replay is that it totally depends on what you are using it for, what style you are looking for and what your budget is.

Here’s a little run though of a few of our brands and what we think they are brilliant for.

Koral £££

High performance but sleek and luxe looking. These products are less sporty looking and more high-end fashion. The vest tops have satin trims, they have high shine finishes and everything can double up to be worn on a night out.  But don’t be fooled, this is still high-performance gear.  We love to wear it to boutique gym classes in town paired with a cross body bag and full-length blazer coat.

Lilybod ££

Sporty, but always sleek. Very monochrome with Black on Black designs, camo and subtle detail that makes it special. The performance fabric feels great to wear against your skin and the waist band is super flattering. This legging will take whatever you throw at it.  We’ve thrown a high-altitude Marathon in Nepal at it and it didn’t disappoint. We love to wear them with a sporty bomber and cap to go the full Sport-Billy look, they are our go to legging for endurance events.

Born Nouli ££

Mid-waisted compression leggings. Performance performance performance. You can swim in these leggings and they will dry super-fast. The compression is great for endurance events and the mid-waist band is perfect for spinning and weight training where you may be bent at the waist.

PE Nation ££££

Super cool street wear vibes. Matchy matchy sets, gorgeous jackets and hoodies. The gym leggings and sports bras really do perform but with all the matching pieces you get an all-day look that you can take anywhere. When we want to look sporty but grown up this is what we reach for.

Varley £££

Loungewear vibes, super soft fabrics and Yoga leggings that are supportive but feel like a second skin.  They do a performance fabric range too but we always reach for out Varley’s when we’re heading to the mat. Very elegant and chic, LA meets London.

Casall ££

For serious athletes that are serious about training. Casall products are made to perform and are comfy enough to wear all day.  All weather training tops, long sleeved, they make all weather training easy, after all, there is no such things as bad weather, just bad clothes.

L’URV and All Fenix £££

Feminine but fierce sets in soft, subtle and supportive fabrics. These two brands produce activewear that is very cross functional, you can run in it, and you can yoga in it.  Perfect if you need your activewear to be cross discipline.
